Words cannot encompass The Reef House’s incredible attention to detail, true caring, and ultimate service! It really is full of heart and soul. Your unique requirements and pure enjoyment is everyone’s priority. I have had the privilege of staying twice and each time I was deeply rejuvenated, inspired and had the most joyful time, connecting with amazing human beings all around! I have traveled a fair bit in my life, both Australia wide and overseas, and The Reef House is truly in an awesome league of its own. 5 stars all around! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ All the way from pick up from the airport and being dropped back both with a chauffeur in a limousine! The treats were continuous and my gratitude beyond words! If you’re looking for a luxurious place and wish to be treated personally to the ultimate best, if you wish to relax and tune inward and reflect, if you wish to just enjoy being taken care of, if you wish to explore the utterly breathtaking surroundings, the Daintree, the temples, the reef, and so much more: this is the place I recommend with every passion and confidence! We have been going to Palm Cove since 2000, and staying at The Reef House since 2012 . This was our fourth stay at The Reef House , and each time we look forward to our next visit . The staff are extremely friendly, and welcome us each time we return as though we are special guests. The staff in the dining room are always welcoming and friendly and we enjoy getting to know them over our stay as they come from all corners of the globe. The food is delicious and beautifully presented along with a great selection of wines . If you want a special holiday in a special place, then The Reef House is the place for you .

Great relaxed vibe, impeccable friendly service, brilliant location. The property itself is a little old (but understandable being the FIRST resort on palm cove), and in need of a touch of TLC or a bit of a refresh (particularly the bedrooms), however the location, tranquillity, friendly service and amenities make up for it all! The location could not get better, being right in the centre of the main strip, such that the famous palm trees, and the palm cove jetty are equidistant at either end of the strip, and easily walkable within 5-10 minutes each way. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, the two pools are also great, we recommend the mineral pool which is also heated to a comfortable level! The poolside refreshing towels, and complimentary sorbet are a great touch that elevate the overall experience above the competition. A highlight of the entire stay is the staff, they are an absolute credit to the resort! The free bikes are fantastic for getting around easily, or just for a leisurely ride around Williams Esplanade. We did not participate in the complimentary cocktail making, or the wine tasting, however they were a hit with the other guests! Once again a credit to the staff who elevate what could be a fairly ordinary experience elsewhere. Make sure you book in for a dinner slot at their restaurant, the food and service is fantastic! Another great option close by for B/L/D is Nunu's. Also, this is the only place we have stayed where the Nespresso machine in the room also has a milk frother! The place deserves an entire star just for this one extremely overlooked item in a majority of other hotels! Overall a great stay, possibly among the best service we have experienced in an Australian 5-star resort, almost comparable to that experienced at 5-star resorts in Asia or the Middle East! The only slight let down is the need for some TLC/refresh of the bedrooms to bring them up to today's comparable hotels (particularly considering the price point).

Whilst the hotel is still very stylish & relaxed with great rooms, pools and restaurants- it is the staff that give the Reef House 5 Stars. They are friendly, helpful and made our stay a fantastic relaxed experience. Best staff almost anywhere.

Accommodation was fantastic all meals were excellent. All the staff were very accommodating and polite at all times. Would highly recommend for couples who would like to laze around the pools and relax while being waited on by the staff. A special thankyou to Michelle and Cedric who went up and beyond to make our stay something to remember.
